Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of PayReminder (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of service

The App helps you manage subscriptions and recurring payments, send payment reminders, and (with Pro) use household budgeting features. Amounts, dates, and notifications are for reference only and may differ from actual charges.

2. Eligibility

The App is provided for iOS. You need a valid Apple ID and a supported OS version on your device.

3. Data storage

Data you enter is stored primarily on your device (SQLite).
If you enable iCloud backup (Pro), backup files are stored in your Apple iCloud account.
Data may be lost due to device loss, failure, or app deletion. Back up important data yourself (e.g. JSON export).

4. Pro (paid features)

Pro is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase through the App Store. Payments and refunds follow Apple’s policies.
Features and availability may change without notice.
Family Sharing and auto-renewable subscriptions may not apply depending on product configuration.

5. Prohibited conduct

Use that violates law or public order
Reverse engineering, modification, or redistribution except as permitted by law
Use that infringes third-party rights

6. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the App (including missed payments, overpayment, undelivered notifications, or data loss). The App is provided “as is.”

We may update these Terms as needed. Material changes will be posted on this page or in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where the developer is located, except where consumer protection law provides otherwise.
