This Privacy Policy explains how PayReminder (“the App”) handles information.

1. Information we handle

• Information you provide: subscription names, amounts, due dates, notes, categories, ledger entries (stored in SQLite on your device)
• Settings: notification preferences, appearance, Pro and iCloud backup settings
• Purchases: Pro purchase and restore status (processed by Apple; we do not store card numbers)

We do not use advertising tracking or third-party analytics SDKs by default.

2. Purposes of use

• Managing subscriptions and delivering payment reminders
• Providing app features such as budgeting and export (Pro)
• Support and troubleshooting

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it except:

• Apple: App Store purchases, notifications, and iCloud backup (when enabled on Pro) use Apple services.
• Legal requirements: when required by law

4. iCloud backup (Pro)

When you enable iCloud backup, a JSON backup file is stored in your iCloud account. Storage, encryption, and deletion follow Apple’s iCloud policies.

5. Retention and deletion

• On-device data remains until you delete the app or clear data in the app.
• iCloud backups can be removed via iCloud settings or in-app actions.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13.

7. Your rights

Where applicable law grants access, correction, or deletion, contact us via Support.

8. Policy changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page.
